Megan and Aaron currently live in Charlestown after meeting while studying at Plymouth State University. They wed this September of 2022 at The Mansion at Turner Hill in Ipswich, Massachusetts. A venue nestled on 300 acres of rolling hills, the estate’s original Elizabethan Mansion and elaborate geometric gardens enhanced their guest experience with refined elegance, splendor, and sophistication for an unforgettable wedding day. The mansion itself boasts hand-molded plaster ceilings, vivid wall friezes, gleaming oak hardwood floors and hand-carved paneling, doors and stairways. It gives you that “Great Gatsby” feel!
An Elegant Estate Wedding
On their wedding day this past Labor Day Weekend, the couple got ready separately at AirBnB rentals in Newburyport, MA, right on the ocean. The bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in black tie attire and brought immense energy and support to their best friends. Megan and Aaron shared a “First Look” in one of the pristine gardens on the estate where they shared their vows privately and exchanged rings. I loved that they created a private ceremony for just the two of them! And after this, their wedding bands were on their fingers for all of their wedding photos!
Their ceremony with 170 of their closest family and friends took place under a cloud of greenery with large, white floral arrangements at their feet. After their “I do’s”, they shared cocktails, signature drinks, and hors d’oeuvres on the grand patio outside of the mansion. Their elegant estate wedding reception took place under a beautiful white framed tent with chivari chairs and tall white centerpieces on gold stands. Their sweetheart table was flooded with flowers and candles where the newlyweds listened to toasts and dined amongst their loved ones. At the end of dinner, everyone migrated into the mansion ballroom and danced the night away!
