A refined celebration inspired by nostalgia, elegance, and thoughtfully placed moments of surprise. Every detail was intentionally curated to immerse guests in their love story, creating a day that felt like a true fairytale brought to life.

Held at the Winslow Estate in Orleans, Massachusetts, this timeless tented wedding blended New England coastal charm with refined sophistication. From heirloom touches to modern statements, every vignette reflected Natalie and Nick’s style: classic, sentimental, and effortlessly chic.

The Gown: A One-of-a-Kind Mark Ingram Moment

One of the most memorable experiences of the planning journey came during our trip to Mark Ingram Atelier in New York City. In a moment that still gives us chills, Mark Ingram himself appeared from behind the atelier doors carrying a gown not yet released to the public. The instant Natalie slipped it on, we all knew. It was the one.

The gown featured two perfectly tailored bows that added an understated yet striking sense of dimension and femininity. A nod to classic couture with a modern edge. To carry that detail throughout the day, we designed the wedding cake to mirror the gown’s silhouette, complete with delicate sugar bows that echoed the same timeless artistry.

Its structured silhouette, refined detailing, and subtle drama set the tone for a celebration defined by elegance and emotional depth.

A Masterclass in Meaningful Design

Every design decision was rooted in personal significance. Each guest received a handwritten note tied with silk ribbon at their place setting, a heartfelt gesture of gratitude from the couple. Tables were adorned with mixed vintage china and teacups, adding an element of charm and nostalgia to the refined tented setting.

Custom tennis balls honoring their beloved dogs
Decks of cards at each place setting, a nod to Natalie’s grandfather who loved to play
Custom stationery and hand-drawn illustrations, including a carrier pigeon motif symbolizing the weekend’s events

When the Dance Floor Came Alive

As twilight settled over Cape Cod, the tent glowed with soft amber light and joyful energy. Then came one of the evening’s most unforgettable moments: Natalie re-entered the reception wearing a vintage Bob Mackie gown, ready to transform the night into a true celebration.

She rolled in a cart of limoncello shots, passed out tambourines, and cued “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” by ABBA, the ultimate crowd favorite. Guests flooded the dance floor in laughter and pure joy.

The night continued at Perk’s Coffee and Beer Garden, where friends and family danced under twinkle lights with bubble guns, captain’s hats, and tropical-inspired cocktails, a playful contrast to the day’s earlier elegance.
