Stripes, woven textures, layered color variations, curves, and light all played an integral role in the overall design composition of L&J’s late summer coastal wedding.
One of our favorite details? We sourced additional fabric from the reception linens to use as the matting for the bar signage and as the backdrop for the stationery flatlay, creating thoughtful continuity across every touchpoint of the celebration.
From the reception tables to the bar moments and detail displays scattered throughout the property, each element felt distinct while still tied together by a common thread.

There is something profoundly moving about sharing your vows with the ocean as your backdrop and florals surrounding you in effortless abundance. The rhythm of the waves, the salt air drifting through the ceremony, the emotion carried in every word spoken, it creates a feeling that is both intimate and expansive all at once. As though the landscape itself becomes part of the moment. A ceremony framed by nature, layered in beauty, and rooted in meaning in the most unforgettable way.

Memorial Day Weekend in New England always feels like the unofficial start of summer. The hydrangeas begin to bloom, the coastal towns come back to life, and weekends become filled with traditions old and new.
It’s a season rooted in heritage, connection, and celebration. Gathering generations of family under sailcloth tents, returning to places that hold history, and creating moments that will become part of a family’s story for years to come.
There is something so special about celebrating on the coast this time of year. The ocean air, candlelight dinners, and the feeling that summer has finally arrived.
Honoring the beauty of tradition, togetherness, and the start of another unforgettable New England summer.
