The Beach Club in Cape Cod

Laura & Jon have strong ties to the South of Massachusetts. Just three days before their wedding at The Beach Club in Cape Cod, they had an offer on a house in Duxbury accepted! There was surely a lot to celebrate that weekend, and the wedding of Laura & Jon at The Beach Club was one for the books!

The Beach Club in Cape Cod: A Place Called Home

The Beach Club is located on Long Beach in Centerville, MA. A place that holds a very special place in the Bride’s heart. Laura grew up summering in Centerville and her childhood memories were created on Long Beach. The first time Laura’s family met Jon and got to know him was after a day on Long Beach. Laura has created so many memories with so many of their wedding guests on Long Beach, and now that the two celebrated their wedding there, they were able to create memories with all their closest family and friends on the beach most special to them.

On their wedding day, they shared a first look on this very special beach. Laura surprised Jon in a stunning two-piece gown sourced from New York City. A dress that completed the boho coastal vision of the wedding day.

The 2023 wedding season in New England had couples on edge with the constant rainfall in unpredictable weather patterns, but Laura & Jon lucked out with a “pick of the summer” day. Jon awaited his bride at the end of the boardwalk on the beach where they had their intimate ceremony of 100 guests under a white hydrangea, baby’s breath and seagrass floral arch. After their first kiss, they were greeted at the end of the aisle with two crisp glasses of champagne, and a photo snagged of their first toast with all their guests behind them!

Their cocktail hour was on the deck with the ocean as their backdrop. A rowboat served as their bar while lobster rolls & pig-in-a-blanket were passed – their favorite foods! They were introduced into their reception as the first time as Mr.  & Mrs. Mindnich through a tunnel of Lithuanian sashes. A cultural tradition to welcome the newly weds, and if a sash came down in front of them, they owed a kiss to each other in order to continue through the tunnel!

The decor was a boho coastal dream. The centerpieces varied between tall, silver dollar lunaria & low arrangements of oyster shells and pillar candles on a dusty blue textured runner. Rattan chargers, white linen napkins, and Serena and Lily inspired blue woven chairs completed the tablescapes. As for the seating display, light blue & white table cards were posted on a white wall of varying rattan chargers. At the base, chinoiserie vases filled with delphinium and hydrangea.

To cap the evening, they were able to dance outside under the stars on a perfect August evening at The Beach Club in Cape Cod!
