Surrounded by dunes, ocean air, and the quiet beauty of Outer Cape landscapes, their wedding felt like a love letter, to Cape Cod, to family legacy, and to the uniqueness of their shared life.

A Tented Wedding Built From the Ground Up
Hosting a wedding in Truro, especially on remote private land, requires an elevated production approach, and this celebration was no exception. From customized tent infrastructure and transportation logistics to full catering builds and pre-event vendor scouting, the day came to life through a meticulous, layered planning process.
The setting itself inspired so much of the design: sweeping coastal views, soft dune grasses, and the sun that dips dramatically behind the tent as evening falls.
Inside the tent, the design was seamless and immersive: an elegant, elevated coastal atmosphere filled with natural textures, blue tones, and layers of personality woven throughout.

A Raw Bar That Paid Homage to Cape Cod
A classic Cape Cod nod, elevated. The raw bar became both a design feature and a culinary experience: oysters, clams, chilled seafood, citrus accents, a beautiful balance of tradition and style.

Instead of a standard, linear wedding flow, the couple embraced a bistro-inspired format. Guests moved freely between food moments, the bar, lounge areas, and dancing — creating a relaxed, convivial atmosphere reminiscent of a European coastal evening.

A melon bar and produce-forward menu featuring fresh seasonal goods from Shapiro Produce, Alix’s family business. This touch grounded the entire wedding in her heritage, honoring generations of family work and tradition.
